Contractor SEO that gets you the call.
Contractor SEO is local SEO done for the trades. When a Bay Area homeowner searches for your trade, you are either in Google’s top three or you are invisible. We put you in the pack and keep you there.
Templates Directories Guesswork A system.
No pitch. We pull your current Google visibility and show you the three fixes that matter first.

Right now, someone nearby is typing “roofer near me.” Three businesses get the call. Everyone else is invisible.
Close to half of Google searches are local. The map pack gets the clicks, the calls, and the jobs. Page two might as well not exist.
That is not luck.
It is a system.
The contractor at the top did not get there by accident. A complete profile, steady reviews, clean listings, and pages built for the cities you serve. We have built our own for San Jose and San Francisco, the two Bay Area cities where the search data actually justifies one. Each piece is fixable, and together they compound.

We build it like a house.
Foundation first.
Google Business Profile
Right categories, every field complete, weekly posts, real job photos, and a service area that matches every city you work in. About a third of your ranking lives here.
Reviews & citations
A system that texts every customer a review link within a day, plus your name, address, and phone matched across the directories Google checks.
City pages & tracking
One real page per city you serve, and tracking on calls and form fills so you see the jobs your listing actually brings in.

Three to six months.
Then it compounds.
Be wary of anyone promising page one in 30 days. Most local SEO takes three to six months to move rankings, with early signs around month two or three. Once you hold your core services, related searches get easier and the leads cost less per job than ads. We set it up once, and it keeps working.
Contractor SEO is not general SEO with a hard hat on.
A homeowner with a burst pipe does not read your blog. They tap the third result and call it.
General SEO chases rankings on a website. Contractor SEO chases the map pack, because that is where the trades actually get hired. Nationally, “plumber near me” runs about 823,000 searches a month, “electrician near me” 368,000 and “roofer near me” 201,000. Almost none of that resolves on a website. It resolves in the three listings Google puts on the map.
That changes what the work is. Your Google Business Profile matters more than your homepage. Your review count matters more than your word count. And the searches worth chasing are the ones a person types with a wet kitchen floor, not the ones a marketer likes the sound of.
We check the demand is actually there first.
This is the part most agencies skip, and it is the part that decides whether the rest is worth paying for.
Measure your trade, in your towns
We pull real monthly search volume for your services in the cities you actually cover. Sometimes the answer is that a term you were sure about has no demand, and we would rather tell you in week one than bill you for a year.
Use the customer’s word, not the industry’s
Phrasing decides everything. “Plumber san jose” measures 2,900 a month. “Plumbing contractor san jose” measures 140. Same service, twenty-one times the demand, and the only difference is which word a homeowner would use.
Build only where the demand is
City pages for the towns with measurable volume, not one for every place inside your service radius. A page nobody searches for is a page nobody reads.
We do this for one industry.
Contractors and home services in the Bay Area. That is the whole client list, which is why we already know roughly what your demand curve looks like before we start. Dealers have the same problem from the other side of the counter, which is why we built a separate service line for building supply yards.

What contractor SEO costs here.
Contractor SEO runs $800 to $2,500 a month, month to month, and the tier depends on how many services and cities you are going after rather than on how many hours we log. The full plan comparison sets out what sits in each one.
We have written separately about what local SEO actually costs across the market, including where the cheap end goes wrong, because a listing service at $300 a month is not this product at a lower price.
The things contractors actually ask.
How is contractor SEO different from regular SEO?
The target is the Google map pack rather than the blue links, because that is where home services get hired. In practice that shifts the work toward your Google Business Profile, reviews, service areas and city pages, and away from the content-heavy approach that suits an online shop.
How long before I see results?
Three to six months before rankings move meaningfully, with early signs around month two or three. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is guessing. Your profile and your follow-up can improve inside the first few weeks, which is why we start there.
Do I need a new website first?
Often no. If your profile is incomplete and you have few reviews, fixing those beats a redesign and costs less. We will tell you which one you actually need before you spend anything.
What if I serve a lot of cities?
We build pages only for the towns with measurable search demand. Building one for every place inside your radius spreads the site thin and rarely ranks. Three real city pages beat fifteen weak ones.
Do you lock me into a contract?
Plans are month to month. The reason we can offer that is the three to six month timeline: if the work is not showing up in your Search Console by then, you should be able to leave.
